Mama’s Salsa

We’re currently raising $1,000 to go towards a local cafe in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. They serve meals to the homeless & impoverished people of our community with no questions asked. We’ve also participated in a fundraising event where all of the proceeds went to an organization that helps create a safe place for women & children seeking shelter from domestic violence situations.

Starting in the new year we’re going to pick a local charity to donate our time & the tips we receive at local markets to local charities/families that have been affected by COVID.

My father passed away in March from Covid & he committed his life to serving others no matter the need. I’d love to continue to use Mama’s Salsa to carry on his legacy & as a way to not only share our delicious salsas with others but to make a positive impact in our community & beyond.

Mama’s Salsa has been using Ball Canning jars since the start of our business in 2018.
I personally love how I feel as though using the mason jars for authentic Mexican salsa pays an homage to my husband being from the south where I was first introduced to mason jars & me being a Mexican American from the west coast who grew up with salsa always on the table or in our refrigerator.

I started Mama’s Salsa as way a way to fulfill my dream of becoming a chef and making people happy with food. I am so thankful that I get to love out my dream while still being a mother & wife. We work this business as a family and are able to see the fruits of our labor. It’s so rewarding to be able to teach our boys the lesson of hard work.

Today you can find us at local market all around the Raleigh area & in a few stores that sell local provisions.
We offer 5 different flavors of fresh salsa weekly as well as homemade corn tortilla chips.
We absolutely love Ball Canning jars. Nothing compares to their durability & reliability.

We’d absolutely love to continue using them as our business grows in the future. Thank you so very much for this opportunity.
Take Care & Stay healthy,
Mama”
